My name is Sam Circh. My experience working with disabled individuals began at the age of 16 at Genesee Valley Rotary Camp, a week-long summer camp for ages 8-21 with all degrees of physical and mental disabilities. This profound impact on my life inspired me to pursue a degree in the field. I earned my MSed at Hunter College while working at a private, special needs school in Manhattan. During this time I also became DIR/Floortime Certified Therapist, as well as a consultant with NYC-based nonprofit, Autism Friendly Spaces.
I left the classroom in 2018, and began working at a nonprofit gym in Manhattan. While coaching sports and movement classes to both disabled and neurotypical children, I earned my Personal Trainer Certification and Youth Fitness Specialist Certification through The American Council on Exercise.
Watch Me Move is the combination of two passions, working with the special needs population and fitness.
